It is with great excitement and optimism that I welcome you to the Felei TechCity project – a groundbreaking initiative that marks a new chapter in the nation’s journey towards a brighter, more prosperous future. Envisioning a vibrant and flourishing city that is an epicenter of intellectual and technological excellence, His Excellency The President, Rtd Brigadier Dr Julius Maada Bio launched the creation of a city where young professionals can refine their abilities, businesses can prosper, and innovation thrives. Coalescing into a physical space is a hub for tech and innovation in the sub-region.

At its core, Felei is more than just a physical space; it represents the embodiment of Sierra Leone’s ambitions to lead in technological advancement, innovation, and sustainable development. As we stand at the crossroads of global transformation, our goal is to position Sierra Leone as a hub for cutting-edge solutions, where creativity meets opportunity, and where local talent collaborates with international expertise to solve real-world challenges.

The Government of Sierra Leone has identified Felei as a critical component of its national development strategy. The project is fully supported by the government, which has provided land and infrastructure, and is committed to creating a favourable regulatory environment. This initiative aligns with the Medium-Term National Development Plan 2024-2030, which prioritizes technological innovation, economic diversification, and sustainable development. The government’s backing underscores the strategic importance of the project in driving the country’s transformation into a regional technology leader.
Sierra Leone has long been a land of untapped potential. Our people are our greatest asset, with boundless energy, ingenuity, and resilience. By providing a state of the art world-class environment for startups, entrepreneurs, researchers, and investors, Felei serves as a catalyst for job creation, youth empowerment, technological advancement, and economic diversification.
